About the Founder / Professional Biography

Thevin Campton, CCIM, founded Capital Placement Partners to bring institutional-level expertise to private investors and business owners. Prior to launching the firm, he spent over a decade at an international brokerage, where he led an investment sales team specializing in the disposition of income-producing real estate. 

​

Over the course of his career, Thevin has executed on more than $450+ million in investment sales, with a core focus on office, industrial, and flex assets. His clients have included private investors, family offices, regional and multi-state investment groups, and both public and private REITs. His recent transaction history includes multi-tenant and single-tenant investment sales, GSA-leased assets, vacant building dispositions, and the structuring of an $82 million UPREIT portfolio.

He has led property sales for publicly-traded REITs, Realty Income (NYSE: O) and STORE Capital (NYSE: STOR), and has advised national firms like AAA on strategic real estate matters. Thevin has sourced off-market acquisitions for institutional buyers including Boyd Watterson Asset Management, CoreCivic (NYSE: CXW), and others. He has also facilitated dispositions for groups such as Starwood Property Trust (NYSE: STWD), TerraCap Management, and Denholtz Properties.

Recognizing that technology has narrowed the gap between national brokerages and independent firms, Thevin founded Capital Placement Partners to deliver the same institutional-grade service with better transparency, greater access, and without the hidden conflicts of interest that often exist at larger firms. 

​

He lives in Orlando with his wife and children, and came from the Midwest—born in Ohio, raised in Indiana, and a Florida resident since 2009.
